Signs of quality
In 1996, the Green Berry Lentil was awarded the Label Rouge, which stands for ‘Superior Quality Guarantee’. This distinction, obtained for the 1st time for a dry vegetable, was reinforced by a Protected Geographical Indication in 1998. This PGI, managed by the INAO, identifies and promotes a food product that derives its specific characteristics from its geographical origin.

The producers, proud of their culture, produce the Green Berry Lentil as a supplement to their cereals on selected land, following strict and rigorous specifications.
